How Do I Apply for a Visa for the Philippines?

In order to apply for a Philippines visa, foreigners must hold a passport issued by an eligible country.

At this time, the Philippines offers visa-free travel to visitors from several foreign countries including all European Union member states, Argentina, Canada, and more, for stays of up to 30 days.

Nationals from the following countries can apply for the Philippines visa through an embassy:

How to Get the Philippines eTA Visa Waiver

Depending on your country of citizenship, you may need to apply for a Philippines visa at an embassy or consulate. You will need to meet the necessary requirements and have your complete supporting documentation up to date.

If you are a national of Taiwan, you are required to apply for an online visa waiver for the Philippines (also known as eTA Philippines).  Citizens of Taiwan can get their Philippines visa by completing an online eTA application form.

It is necessary to print a copy of the visa waiver on an A4 page to present along with the passport upon arrival. All holders of a Taiwanese passport must apply for a Philippines eTA online visa waiver before they travel to the country.
